Grammond Diminius
"Your words will earn you no mercy."

THE ENTRANCE

"'To announce your name and rank' is a custom taught to us when we learn how to fight."

Full Name: Grammond Diminius
Age: 2048
Race: Arrancar
Rank: Segunda
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Hetero
Appearance: Grammond is a massive and imposing mountain of power. He stands in at roughly 6’6” and weights close to 300lbs. Grammond is pure muscle and brute force, each part of his body looking as though it was sculpted by master craftsmen, all of this muscle is compacted into a sleek and athletic build. Grammond’s hair has turned a light silver color over the years and rests at roughly shoulder length with four distinct braids extending past his shoulder blades, and capped off by golden talons.

Grammond’s face is stern and square jawed, his eyes glow an unhumanly shade of green and his skin a fair shade of bronze, giving off the perfect impersonation of a God. His body is covered in various tattoos, each a different glyph with a different meaning from a time beyond the sands. Over time Grammond’s finger nails have grown elongated and dagger like. Grammond is so large in size that it is said that he can palm almost anyone’s head in his hand.
Spoiler:

To accompany his brutish physique, Grammond wears the very same armor he died in. The armor is so ancient it holds aesthetics of various civilizations. A large and sturdy breast plate, a golden eagles head covering his right shoulder, his faud looks as though it is crafted out of dragon scales, and clawed armored greaves. The various pieces of cloth that accompany his attire include the creed of his family written in an ancient language lost and long forgotten. The armor follows the Arrancar color scheme of white and black, and the remains of Grammond’s mask cover his bottom jaw. Grammond hollow hole rests in the place of his heart, but it is usually concealed under his armor until he uses his resurrection.
Spoiler:

THE PERSONA

"Don't use such strong words. It makes you seem weak."

Personality: Grammond has the type of attitude you would expect from someone who came from a powerful family and traumatizing life. Grammond has the “his shit don’t stink” mentality, he believes he can do no wrong, and that anything he does is beyond perfect. Grammond also can seem very stand offish and rude, this stemming from his trust issues.

Grammond’s Family were seen as gods and he expected to be treated as such, no one would dare talk back to him, and he would not hesitate to look down upon the people who served and worshiped him. Grammond treated mankind as a waste of space and time, a filthy plague placed upon the earth. This proud warrior and king Felt that mankind didn’t deserve the protection his family provided for them, and saw them as something to be ruled over, he knew humans couldn’t be trusted and knew that they wouldn’t be oblivious and unappreciative of the work his family did.

Grammond is a very prideful individual and strives to uphold his image as the ultimate being, despite his shortcomings. Despite all the animosity and hatred that constantly floats around in Grammond’s mind, he is also a solitary figure, preferring the quiet confines of his room where he can read and be alone. His trust has constantly been broken throughout his life that he keeps an “army of one” mentality and refuses to work in groups; it takes quite a bit for him to feel relaxed around an individual.

Grammond is fueled by a menacing hate and rage, only suffering and despair can satisfy this blood thirsty monster, and his thirst for battle. Grammond has been known to rip other lesser Arrancar in half just for looking at him the wrong way, he fears no man or woman, and looks death in the eyes with a gigantic smile.
Though Grammond’s hatred and anger are his two most prominent personality traits, the former king is also very cunning and manipulative. A prime example of how manipulative Grammond can be is when he took on a disguise and convinced a group of commoners that they should start a rebellion and assassinate their king. Despite their best efforts to avoid any sort of conflict with their almighty king, they found themselves accepting the coin and planning Grammond’s assassination. An earlier example of Grammond’s manipulative prowess is when he was but a young man and had convinced several of the most powerful members of his family to rebel against his mother. Grammond had woven his thoughts and ideals into the minds of those around him, ultimately it lead to his exile but nonetheless he had proved to be skilled in the arts of deception. Throughout time Grammond has proven on countless occasions that it isn’t hard to get people to do what he wants.

Grammond is also known to be a skilled strategist, it was from an early age that he showed signs of being able to outthink and outsmart his opponents. Since Grammond made it his prime goal to enslave and rule over humanity, he was always looking for opportunities to dethrone any who refused to bow to him. In time this wasn’t an issue but early on Grammond knew that best way to bring down an empire was from the inside. He would weasel his way into their ranks in disguise and plant the seeds of rebellion. Once Grammond had the forces he needed the next steps were carefully planned out and executed without flaw.

THE INVENTORY

"The curtain that falls down at the end, shall be pulled down by the blade of my sword."

Ressurection Name & Description: asesino vicioso- The Vicious Slayer, the source of all of Grammond’s power. This unholy blade resembles a large curved cleaver-like blade made of bone. Along the spine of the blade are the words “power and domination” written in Grammond’s ancient language. When Grammond is fueled by his rage, a ghostly green and orange flame emianates from the blade, His hatred for mankind can be felt oozing out of the blade, even when it’s sheathed. The command to unleash Grammond’s blade is Esclavice (Enslave).

Grammond’s Vasto Lorde Appearance was equivalent to a bipedal demon with large bull-like horns, a lower jaw made of bone, burning red eyes and an intimidating physique equal to that of Grammond’s. Grammond’s Vasto Lorde form had a collar of golden blond fur that wrapped around the neck and extended like hair down to the lower part of his back, the tail that protruded from his spine was capped off with the same color fur. Flames of spiritual pressure emanated from the forearms, the flames would grow more intense the more Grammond was feeling angry. Several spikes also protruded from the beastly figures back, each on scaling down in size as they went lower and lower down his back, there were 7 in total.

When Grammond unleashed his blade his form shifts slightly to represent what he used to look like, this includes the collar of fur, which turns a blood red color, and an armor like substance that covers the rest of his body, making him look like a knight. The horns that once graced his head, multiply with two growing out the side of his jaw like large tusks. The spikes that lined his back, relocate to his shoulder pads. The tail that once grew from his back is removed, and replaced by two very large and thick chains that drag behind him as he walks, many who hear the sound of the dragging chains know their time of death is soon at hand. The center of his chest where his hollow hole rested, is now filled with a bright orb of energy that lets off a ghostly blue aura.
Spoiler:

Grammond’s ability is similar to the manipulation of fire, however, these flames are not actual fire, but rather energy in its purest of forms, which Grammond can generate. The energy can leave behind a burn or scorch mark based on the severity of the blast. It is said that as Grammond's anger intensifies, the heat of the energy becomes hotter and hotter.

THE STORY

"If history repeats itself, and moves in a circular path, then believing that whatever force is turning it is perfect, is all we can do as we move ahead. Pushed along by forces beyond our control, waiting, for the blade to be swung."

History:

The Early Years

Long ago, before time was a concept, while man was still trying to find its way in life, a family sprung into existence. This family was a family like no other, they were powerful beings, granted powers by the gods (every member of the family was born with powers, but to understand things they didn’t know, they placed their beliefs in the ideas of gods) to watch over and protect humanity from the things that lurked in the shadow. This family took to upholding its duty with pride and honor. A single female was the sole leader of the family, a matriarch, and her children where her soldiers in a war as old as the world itself. One of these children held more promise that the others, his name was Grammond. From an early age, Grammond showed that he had total control and understanding of the powers that were gifted to him, his power was beyond that of the matriarch, and this made her uneasy, however, she took it in stride and made it her objective to mold the boy into her successor.

After several agonizing years of war with the creatures of the underworld (hollows) the family had taken many losses. Grammond was affected the most by this, from his point of view as a child growing up, the members of his family were immortal or so he thought, and he knew that one day he would lead them, just as his mother had. Grammond began to question the nature of his family’s place in the world, the work they did was good and just, but mankind seemed to bat not an eye. There were no signs of gratitude, no praise, nothing, not even a single tear for their fallen saviors.

Grammond realized that his family had a power that most humans did not possess and began to question why such powerful beings were constricted to protecting such flawed creatures. This sparked a fire in his heart, he was convinced that his kind were not meant to protect humanity but rather to rule over it instead. The fear that the matriarch had dreaded had begun to manifest, and in the most powerful of them to boot. She did everything in her power to convince and persuade Grammond that violence and dominance were not the way and that it went against everything their family stood for.

This caused Grammond to raise against the matriarch, there were few in the family that opposed her, but Grammond had managed to scrounge up a small force and took to threatening her rule. It began with simple defiance and escalated into a civil war that tore the family apart. During this 10 year period, it was hard for the family to keep up its duty, and many of mankind fell to the beasts in the shadows. The gods frowned upon the misconduct of the family and chose to intervene. On the eve of the final battle the gods bestowed the matriarch with an abundance of power, when the combatants saw her might, they quickly gave up their cause and swore their fealty to her, all except one. Grammond refused to live by the book and knew that mankind was nothing but a scourge upon the face of the earth, and needed to be ruled and put in line. With guilt and sorrow in her heart, the matriarch banished Grammond from the family.

Adult Life and Death

Not much time had passed since Grammond was banished from his homeland, though he felt guilt, he could not seem himself bending a knee to someone who insisted on helping the humans. Grammond set out on his own path, a path of bloodshed and conquest. If he couldn’t convince his mother that humans were meant to be ruled, he would have do it himself. Grammond started out by weeding himself into prominent societies and planting the seeds of deception with in the minds of the most powerful politicians and soldiers. This only furthered Grammond’s belief that humans were scum, they believed in material things, and held on to very little of their morals or values.

Through spreading lies and hatred, Grammond would cause a coup d’etat he would ended up winning the battles by himself using his powers alone. The fear of ending up like Grammond’s enemies kept his “allies” in check. No one dared to oppose him, all of his subjects saw him as a god and that’s exactly what he claimed himself to be. After being the cause of the rising and falling of countless nations, Grammond finally decided he had proved his point, and claimed himself the ruler of mankind. If any opposition rose to challenge his claim, he would strike them down without a second thought. Occasionally more of his kind began to spring into existence, godlike beings with gifts from the gods, no doubt this was a sign of the gods’ displeasure with the path that Grammond now walked. Many of these beings would foolishly enter his city’s gates and never leave the city. Grammond had mastered his power, and had become the most powerful thing the gods had ever created.

Once Grammond had risen to the top, he was never truly satisfied. Deep down inside he knew humans couldn’t be trusted, he had proved that countless times before but he wondered if their loyalty extended only as far as their fear, he wondered if the only reason the humans he ruled over didn’t oppose him was out of fear of his power. Grammond began to ponder the possibilities; he wanted to test the loyalty and fear of his people. As much as Grammond hated humans he never treated them unfairly, or at least he didn’t until he decided to test their limits. Over the course of a couple of years, Grammond molded himself into a tyrant, unrest began to settle throughout the kingdom and Grammond knew it was only a matter of time before the people rose against him. That day never came, Grammond waited and waited, and yet life still went on. Each day that passed brought a new challenger from the gods, and each time the result was the same, Grammond was decimate the being and string the bodies up across the city for all to see.

The day finally came when Grammond would take action and put his theory to the test. Under the cover of night and a cleaver disguise, Grammond sought out several of the city’s shadiest residents and persuaded them to kill their king. There was much protest from the group of individuals, but after being paid a considerable amount of coin the group agreed to the task. The very next day as Grammond awaited his supposed assassination, his Kings guard approached him with the very individuals he had hired to assassinate him. The guards had said that they overheard the group the previous night and apprehended them as soon as they could. They had brought the individuals before Grammond for sentencing. Grammond sentenced the individuals to death by his hand in a public. As the days turned to months and the months turned to years Grammond fell into a more solitary state, he stopped leaving the castle and turned a blind eye to the needs of his people, leaving them to fend for themselves. A day finally came where Grammond woke to the sight and smell of smoke, he could here riots in the streets, and he rose from his bed ready to put the usurpers in their place. As he left the confines of the castle, he was met with several members of his family, nephews and nieces that he had never met before. They had been sent on the Matriarchs orders to kill him and bring justice to the world.

Grammond was not prepared for the battle that lay before him, but neither were his kin. None of them were prepared to face the raging demon that was Grammond. With all his might, he set out to send his mother a message, he would send the remains of these brave warriors back to her, after he was finished crushing them to dust. Grammond took the four on by himself and manages to take two of them down with relative ease, and fatally injured the third. The fourth member of their party however, was skilled far beyond the other three and was fighting on par with Grammond, it was a welcomed surprise for the Tyrannical king and he eagerly enjoyed the challenge. The battle between the two otherworldly warriors raged on and decimated the land, the scars left behind by their epic battle still remain to this day. Though Grammond had experience with his power and knew every possible way to use it, his nephew seemed to be more creative and used their power in ways Grammond would have never thought of. Just as all hope seemed lost and Grammond was going to win, he felt a sharp pain in his chest, he looked down to see a blade protruding through, he had gotten stabbed in the back. Grammond turned around to see a small young girl letting go of the swords handle, as he stared into her eyes he saw a fear like nothing he had seen before, he raised a hand to strike the girl down and suddenly felt the grip of his nephew around his head. His eyes widened as he let out a scream of anger. There was a thunderous boom as Grammond’s Neck snapped and his lifeless corpse fell to the floor.

Afterlife

Grammond found himself opening his eyes, he blinked a few times as his vision adjusted to the light. He looked around not knowing where he was or what was going on, he only had one memory, and that was of his neck being snapped like a twig. He lifted a hand to grasp at his neck and panicked at the sight that he saw. His hand wasn’t his hand it looked vile and grotesque. It took a few moments for Grammond to realize that his hand looked similar to the creatures that his family had fought for so many years. All was confusing for the recently deceased king, he had no idea where he was, he felt weaker than usual and for the mean time he was alone, but experienced favored Grammond, taking the time to focus and gather his calm, he was able to sense two nearby signs of life.

Grammond approached the two beings and saw the horror for the first time, these creatures were like nothing he or his family had faced before, the way they moved, the way they looked, their speed, everything that Grammond had come to know about the hallows was forever changed. The two beasts looked up at him, from the fresh kill they had scored, the two seemed to be speaking to one another and were fighting over who would take the spoils. As their attention turned to Grammond, he felt the urge to run, something he hadn’t done in a long time, he turned as quick as he could, but came face to face with one of the hallows, they had surrounded him.

Grammond wasn’t sure what he could possible do, so he did the only thing he knew how to do and that was fight. Not knowing the capabilities of his new form, Grammond went to war with this creatures, and they soon learned the nature of their opponent, he was a demon that had been unleashed on this plane to conquer. Dispite their best efforts and their knowledge of the laws of hueco mundo, Grammond tore through them with little resistance and absorbed their essence. Grammond could feel his power growing, and it wasn’t long till he figured that he gained strength by slaying other hallows, this was no problem for him, though some things had changed, Grammond’s original sole purpose was to slay these beasts anyway.

Time progressed and Grammond grew stronger and stronger, eventually maturing into a vasto lorde class hallow. Grammond roamed hueco mundo looking for prey constantly, he grew more and more power hungry by the day, it eventually led him to a fight with another vasto lorde. Grammond now a seasoned veteran and brutal monster looked upon his fellow hallow and felt the energy oozing out of his opponent to be. The two sized each other up, both knew what was at stake, but Grammond wanted this, he wanted the power that rested in the enemy’s body, he would not quit till his foe was dead. With a mighty and deathly roar, Grammond charged in full speed, the ghostly green flames erupting from his forearms. The enemy vasto lorde charged in and with a thunderous clash, the two began to battle one another. Grammond had the upper hand in this battle, it was clear the other hallow knew how to become stronger, but it appeared that it had just achieved its vasto lorde form. As the two fought, the enemy vasto fired several ceros, each one slightly off mark from the last, until one finally landed dead in on the mark, it had collided with Grammond’s forehead, and cause his mask to chip and crack slightly.

Grammond retaliated with a barrage of ceros all his own, he unloaded with a variety of blasts, some from his mouth, and multiple flying from his hands. Each blast landed on the mark and caused a bright green explosion. As the smoke cleared the battered body of the other vasto lorde lay at the bottom of a crater formed from the various cero blasts. Grammond approached the beast and absorbed all of its power and went on his way. As Grammond moved away from the battle site, he started to scratch at his head where the cero had hit him. As he picked at it, it began to flake, out of pure frustration and anger, Grammond dug his claws and dug into the crack and with a ferocious roar and strength, Grammond ripped the mask from his face. With an eruption of power Grammond shed his vasto lorde form and stepped into the realm of the Arrancar, as the sands settled around him, Grammond could see the silhouette of a sword before him, the sword looked as deadly as Grammond himself, it was even crafted from the same substance as the armor that hollows were made of, or at least it appeared that way. Grammond’s power had reached a new panicle and Grammond was determined to see how far he could push his limits.

The King had regained his true form, and he felt whole again, he decided to set himself on a mission to discover all he could about the world above and hueco mundo. He discovered the existence of the espada and made his case to join them, not out of necessity, but for survival. The espada  were rulers of hueco mundo, which meant he would be among the strongest beings in existence.

I have one thing I want fixed and clarified, and one question.

The question is, do you not want a rank? If not, please put rogue, because we have to know who you are affiliated with. Honestly I'd rather the basic spots of the factions be filled before we begin to have rogues, but if you truly want to be one I can't stop you.

The thing I want clarified and fixed is your power. You say it's like fire manipulation, but does it act like fire? For example, if it hit, say, a person, would it not only burn the person, but set them aflame as well like real fire?

This is very close to what I was talking about, but you're almost added techniques here. Also, if that's what they can do, it's honestly not going to be approved, because that's like having two different powers. The abilityto manipulate fire, and the ability to create objects out of hardened reiatsu. Pick one, and make it more general. Like, " The flames act like fire, burning and scorching, but become larger as he becomes angrier." Or " The flames can be made solid and shaped into different objects, which he can make larger as he becomes more angry." I only added the anger party because that seems to be in the description. Put it into your own words, but make it something along those lines.

Much. Though, in retrospect, I may need to speak with the head of mechanics to see if "Rage" can be mechanized. If it can, you'll have to work with him. Putting this in temporary hold until I can confer with him.

Well, I talked with the Hess of mechanics, and turns out you can't mechanizes anger. You can still have that your anger makes your fire bigger, but it won't actually get STRONGER. It'll just be flavor. Otherwise, only thing I have to add is your history has a lot of references to "gods"... Gods don't exist in Bleach. There are Death Gods, or Shinigami, but that's about it. It's not something that'll get you unapproved... Just don't mention them IC.
