Second Releases – When it comes to a character's Second Release, the only requirement is that you be at least the Above Average Tier, though having a higher Tier would do you well. As it stands, though, only Lieutenants and Captains may begin with a Bankai, and moreso Captains than Lieutenants (keep in mind this is not a guarantee that just because you are accepted as a Captain that you'll be awarded a Bankai). Truly, the term Second Release is broad by my definition, as it truly includes a First Release and a Third Release. However, anything coined as a, “second release,” comes with an extremely beneficial gift: an increase in your stats for the duration of the Release.
An Arrancar's Resurreccion gives them 30 Stat Points to distribute. You may only choose where to put these points once, so make sure you put them where you'll really want them.
A Shinigami's Bankai gives them 40 Stat Points to distribute. You may only choose where to put these points once, so make sure you put them where you'll really want them. (The reason Shinigami get a higher boost as compared to the Arrancar is because a Shinigami must earn a Bankai whereas an Arrancar begins with a Resurreccion)
A Vaizard's Mask gives them 15 Stat Points to distribute. You may only choose where to put these points once, so make sure you put them where you'll really want them. Vaizards who become Vaizards through RolePlay begin with a Mask Duration of 2 Posts and must train In Character to increase that limit. Vaizards accepted from application may begin with a maximum duration of 6 posts, though such is not a guarantee.
Superhuman and Fullbringer's Advanced Power / Advanced Fullbring gives them 40 Stat Points to distribute. You may only choose where to put these points once, so make sure you put them where you'll really want them.
A Quincy's Letzt Stil gives them 50 Stat Points to distribute. You may only choose where to put these points once, so make sure you put them where you'll really want them. (The reason Quincy get a higher boost as compared to all others is because a Quincy must earn their Letzt Stil and are required to lose their powers after it's deactivation and must regain their powers through RolePlay)
A Quincy's Vollstandig gives them 40 Stat Points to distribute. You may only choose where to put these points once, so make sure you put them where you'll really want them. (The reason Quincy get a higher boost as compared to the Arrancar is because a Quincy must earn a Vollstandig whereas an Arrancar begins with a Resurreccion).
A Shinigami who discards their Zanpakuto's Bankai willingly may seal away a portion of their power, akin to Zaraki Kenpachi. Upon releasing whatever seal they have, they will obtain 40 Stat Points to distribute. (To obtain the additional power to be sealed, a character must prove through RolePlay that they are incapable of communing with their Zanpakutō. They must in some way subjugate their Zanpakutō to them, forfeiting their Bankai ability for additional power. This does not mean that in the future, you will be unable to obtain an official Bankai; consider this a potential placeholder. One may not have both a Seal and a Bankai at the same time.)
*These numbers are final and you cannot gain more, nor lose any points in any of your releases. Where you choose to distribute your points is final and cannot be changed.
